Strong winds send truck off the road

 The extreme winds experienced last Wednesday across Oklahoma apparently forced a 2000 International Truck off the roadway about 2½ miles west of Alex. The vehicle was traveling westbound on OK-19 and departed the roadway to the right and struck an embankment, coming to rest on its wheels.
 The truck driven by Jack A. West, 37, a resident of Ada, Oklahoma was transported by Grady County EMS to Grady Memorial Hospital and admitted in fair condition with head and leg injuries.
 The incident was investigated by Trooper Tyler Shelby #619 of the Grady County Detachment of Troop G. Assisted by Trooper Brent Tucker, #775, Grady County EMS, Grady County Fire Dept, and Alex Police Dept.
