OBITUARIES

Joseph “Rryon” Drawbridge Hernandez

Joseph “Rryon” Drawbridge Hernandez was born on June 10, 1982 in Woodward, Oklahoma. He left this world on April 7, 2022 with a broken heart, at the age of 39. Rryon came in this world as a Blessing to Jay Drawbridge and Jo (Trissel) Drawbridge.
Rryon always had a mission to achieve in life. He was always ready to help anyone in life to be happy. He graduated in 2000 from Enid High. Later he went on to graduate from Cosmetology School.
Rryon loved people and as a young man he worked in a retail store. He could sell ice to an Eskimo. His talents were many. He went on to own and operate his own hair salon. Then he decided to travel the world on a ship doing hair. Only Rryon would figure out a way to see the world and get paid for it. After returning from his world travels, he decided it was time to settle down and continue to be not just your hair stylist but your best friend. That was not enough for Rryon so he started sharing his many, many talents with the world as a designer. He had the way to make a silk purse out of a pig’s ear.
On August 12, 2017 he married the love of his life, Scotty Hernandez. These two made the best team ever.
Rryon was always willing to take the world by the tail. As a little boy he couldn’t wait to go on a camping trip with his Pa Pa Mel. As he grew older he went on several mission trips to share his love for Christ. Rryon was the life of the party. He had a way to always make you feel special and laugh. He will be so greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Jay Drawbridge; his great grandad, Earl Dodge, great grandpa, Melvin Elwood; great grandma, Lilly Elwood, and grandpa, Ramon Avila.
