Chris C. Cyrus was born in Chickasha, OK, on April 15, 1959, to Ray Neil Cyrus and Nellie (Newell) Petrey. He passed away on March 30, 2022, in Anadarko, OK at the age of 62.
 A memorial service will be held at a later date, under the direction of Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home in Anadarko, OK.
 Chris grew up in the Cyril area. He attended Mustang and Cyril schools. He worked with his dad AAA Tile Co. laying flooring in business and restaurants all over the country. Chris has traveled to different countries working on oil rigs and fire fighters. He went to Kuwait, Honduras, and the United States. Chris was considered the elder in Texas Tent City.
 Chris is survived by his daughter, Christi and Justin Carey of Anadarko, OK, son Ron and Becca Cyrus of Oklahoma City, OK, 5 grandchildren, sisters: Kelly Wall of Anadarko, OK, Tara and Walt Dorman of Durant of OK, lifetime friend Don Pelzer, and he was loved by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends
 He is preceded by his parents, Ray and Nancy Cyrus, Stan and Nellie Petrey, grandparents, Paul and Helen Cyrus and Con and Donis Newell.
