Larry Alton Crabb


Larry Alton Crabb was born Friday, May 3, 1957, in Duncan, to Alton Flemon and Betty Joyce (Carnes) Crabb. Alton passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in Oklahoma City.
 Funeral Services were held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. David Hale and Rev. Kim Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the Crabb Family Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
 He lived in the Rush Springs area most of his life. Larry married Gennifer Goetting in Rush Springs, on May 9, 1999, and they celebrated more than 22 years of marriage together.
 Larry worked many years in law enforcement (1985 until retirement) at several different locations, including Grady County Sheriff Department and Grady County Jail. Larry also worked for the Grady County Fire Department and the Rush Springs Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on old cars, and beating his family in a game of Wahoo. Larry loved his family the most and cherished the time they spent together. He will be missed by many.
 Survivors include his wife, Gennifer Crabb of the home, 4 sons: Craig Crabb and wife Debra of Edmond, Larry Joe Crabb and wife Cheryl of Rush Springs, Kody Krawtzow and wife Sarah of Rush Springs, and Kory Krawtzow and wife Haleigh of Hilton Head, SC, 2 daughters, Ray Schilen and husband Mike of Edmond, and Keri Krawtzow of the home, mother Betty Harris and husband Randall of Rush Springs, 8 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Joyce Balzhiser and husband John of OKC, and Deborah Williams and husband Bill of Rush Springs, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a host of friends.
 In addition to his father, Larry was preceded in death by son, Kyle Krawtzow.
