Betty Lou Graham Koenig


 Betty Lou Graham Koenig was born to Homer Rollie Bartlett and Mary Glee (Cowling) Bartlett on September 1,1932 in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma and gained her angel wings on February 12,2022 in Chickasha, Oklahoma after a lengthy illness. She was 89 years old.
 Graveside service wasTuesday, February 15,2022 at the Verden Cemetery under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
 While attending business school in Oklahoma City she met and married Donald Graham and to this union three children were born, Jimmie Ray, Frank Linn and Johnny Darrell. She was a fulltime mother and homemaker involved in her sons activities including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H and FFA.
 She always had a large garden and canned vegetable to share with friends and family. She loved to cook and no one ever went away hungry. She went to work at Maremont/Gabriel Ride and worked for 21 years retiring in 1987.
 She married Samuel Koenig in April 1986, moving back to Verden at that time.
 Family vacations to Colorado with trout fishing was one of her favorite things. She loved her cats and adopted all the strays and named them and fed them all. Everyone knew that she would take care of any strays.
 She cherished her family and they were the light of her life and that is what she lived for.
 Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Frank of Verden, Johnny and Cindy of Verden. Six Grandchildren, 13 Great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter .
 She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel, son Jimmie, and grandsons Keith and Eric.
