Daisy Lavernia Sprowls, of Pocasset, OK, was born October 8, 1943 in Kinta, OK to D.C. Riley and Vernia (Hamilton) Albright. She passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 in Pocasset, Oklahoma at the age of 78.
 Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Pocasset First Baptist Church, Pocasset, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
 Daisy graduated from Pocasset High School in 1961. She married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Sprowls that summer on June 3, 1961. They moved to Yukon shortly after and stayed there until 1973 where they moved to Blanchard. In 1997 Daisy and Jerry returned to their hometown of Pocasset to be closer to the farm.
 Daisy and Jerry lovingly raised three girls, Ronda Evans, Chrystal Newton, and Danene Sprowls. Daisy loved watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren play sports. She loved softball with a passion and played until she was 42.
 Daisy loved the Lord and had a true servant’s heart. She faithfully attended church. Daisy spent her life serving the Lord and helping others. Daisy and Jerry spent the remainder of their lives in Pocasset, Oklahoma.
 She is preceded in death by her parents, D.C. Riley and Vernia Albright; step-father, Olan Albright; husband, Jerry Sprowls; brother, Gerald Riley; sisters, Sue Turner and Sharon Franks.
 Daisy is survived by her daughters, Ronda Evans and husband, Tony of Pocasset, OK, Chrystal Newton and husband, Tom of Pocasset, OK, and Danene Sprowls of Pocasset, OK; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Vicki Kennedy and David Riley; very special lifelong friend, Shirley Hammons; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
