OBITUARIES

Ashleigh Robertson

Marie Ashleigh Pagie Robertson’s sunrise occurred on November 11, 2004, in Chickasha, OK. She was born to Tommy and Jessica Robertson. Ashleigh’s sunset was on January 10, 2022, where she gained her wings at her home in Lawton, OK where she resided with her “NaNa and PaPa”.
Due to life circumstances Ashleigh and her sisters lived and were raised by their aunt and uncle, who later became just NaNa and PaPa.
Ashleigh attended Chickasha Public Schools for a short period of time and then the family moved to Lawton, OK where Ashleigh attended Lawton Public Schools from grade school to high school where she was presently a student at Eisenhower High School.
From a very small child Ashleigh faced numerous issues in her life, first being that she lost her mother at a very young age followed by many things that would challenge Ash throughout her so very short life. However, Ash continued pushing her way forward. She was one of the strongest, most loving people and the most loyal person you could ever hope to meet. She was also a fabulous nurse. She loved taking care of people. Ashleigh had so many friends, she was constantly on the go, she loved spending time with friends, listening to music and just “chilling” and TikTok.
So many people loved Ashleigh. Stories could go on forever, even though she was only her for such a short time before God decided to take her home. She created so many memories for all that loved her. She loved TicTok and we are left with so many of those that well always bring a laugh from her.
Ash was a NaNa’s girl, even though of course with advance of teenage years the usual teenage angst, Ash returned to NaNa and PaPa, who was Aunt Pat and Uncle Rocky. She was a bright and shining light in our lives and now we are left with this world a whole lot dimmer. Ashleigh gained her wings while at home in her bed with loved ones in the home with her. Though we never had the chance to say “goodbye” I pray that she knew how loved she was, knew she was home.
She is survived by her father, Tommy Robertson and his wife Patti of Clinton, OK. Rocky and Patricia (NaNa and PaPa) Cantwell of the home. Paternal grandmother, Lydia Robertson of Chickasha. 4 sisters: Danielle Clark of Lawton, Victoria Robertson of Norman, Hannah Robertson of Cement and Miranda Roberts of Lawton, 4 brothers: Chris Robertson and wife Desiree of Chickasha, Joey Robertson and Tara of Chickasha, Jeffrey Robertson of Norge, Rocky Lynn Cantwell of Lawton, grandmother Shelly Richardson of Cement and her aunt Eva Doughty of Anadako, and many nieces, nephews and numerous friends, too many to name all, but a very special friend Terrence Billings and family and the love of her life, her furbaby, Marcelllus.
She was preceded in her sunset by her mother, paternal grandparents, John Frank Robertson and LouAnn Robertson, maternal grandparent Donnie Robertson, paternal uncles, Gary Robertson and Rickey Robertson, maternal uncle Donny Robertson, aunts, Margaret Teeter and Wanda Lane and a very special cousin who was more like a sister, Makayla Taylor and grandfather Chris Richardson.
There was a celebration of her life held on January 14, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Anadarko, OK. Burial followed in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, OK. Funeral Services under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Anadarko, OK.
