Private graveside services for Obed “Dale” Osborn, 83, of Chickasha, were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2021 in Fairlawn Cemetery.

Obed “Dale” Osborn was born August 9, 1938 in Erick, Oklahoma to Ray Estil Osborn and Hazel Maxene (Marshall) Osborn. He passed away on December 30, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Dale married the love of his life, Susan “Gus” Osborn on August 4, 1993. They shared many happy years together and loved spending time playing golf together.

Dale spent six years in partnership with his father operating Osborn Grain. He spent many years teaching and coaching in many school districts in Oklahoma. He retired as Executive Director of Special Young Adults in 2020 after 13 years.

He was preceded in death by both parents Ray and Maxene Osborn.

Dale is survived by his wife Susan Osborn of the home; son Jerry Ray Osborn (Amy); daughter Lisa Ramsey (Bobby); daughter Traci Gallegos (Michael); five grandchildren and other extended family and friends.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Special Young Adults, 826 W. Oregon Ave., Chickasha, OK 73018.

Services and interment were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
