Terry “Susan” Kester


 Terry Susan Kester, 70, of Chickasha, was born January 21, 1951 in Monahans, Texas to Bob and Sue (Waner) Randolph. She passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 in Duncan, Oklahoma.
 Memorial services for “Susan” were held on Friday, December 10, 2021 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Ezell Nelson officiating.
 Susan grew up in Crane, TX and graduated from Grand Falls-Royalty High School in 1969. She worked in Odessa for a time and attended Odessa Junior College.
 On December 23, 1975, Susan married Steve Kester in Odessa and they shared 46 years together. After they married, due to Steve’s work in the oilfield, they moved around living in Tulsa, Wheeler TX, Elk City, where their son Kyle was born, Oklahoma City/Edmond, where their son Kevin was born, Enid and settling in Chickasha in 1985.
 She was a stay-at-home mom, raising two boys. For a few years she worked at the YMCA and was called “SuSu” by the little day-care kids and was known by that from then on. She liked cooking, getting her hair and nails done, shopping and loved jewelry. She was a soccer, NASCAR and OU Football fan. She loved being her grandchildren’s “SuSu” and having them over to swim at their pool.
 Susan was preceded in death by both parents, a daughter-in-law Pam Newman and a grandchild Kenley Kester.
 Survivors include her husband, Steve of the home, sons, Kyle Kester and Kevin Kester and wife Stephanie and 4 grandchildren all of Chickasha, brother Bob Randolph of Texas and other extended family and friends.
 Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
