Janice Elaine Wehling was born January 10, 1939 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Lloyd Cole and Reba Calhoun Cole. She passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
 Funeral services for Janice Elaine Wehling, 82, of Chickasha, were held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Esten Leonard officiating.
 Janice attended public schools in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1956. After High School she attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma and while in college she married Dale Osborn. She graduated from East Central University with a degree in Music Education.
 Janice returned to Chickasha where she taught at Lincoln School with the Chickasha Public Schools system for over thirty-five years. During that period she also worked to obtain her Masters Degree in Elementary Education. She later married Jerry Wehling.
 She really enjoyed traveling especially, to watch her grandson J.J. play sports. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, crafting, and spending time with family.
 She was preceded in death by both parents; husband Jerry Wehling; brother Jerry Cole; and sister Janelle Kendall.
 Janice is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jerry Ray and Amy Osborn of Chickasha; daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Bobby Line of Chickasha; Sister Judy Cole of Chickasha; grandson J.J. Osborn of Chickasha; nieces, Jennifer Garner and Michelle Garner; nephews Greg Cole, Brett Cole, and Jeff Kendall; five step daughters and many step grandchildren.
 Interment will be in the Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
