Lillian Marie Steelman of Amber-Pocasset, OK, was born September 13, 1948 in Chickasha, OK to James and Hope (Schafers) Owens. She passed away Thursday July 15, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 72.
 A Wake was held Tuesday July 20, 2021 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday July 21, 2021 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Chickasha, OK. Interment will be at Pocasset Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
 Lillian lived in the Chickasha area all of her life. In 1966 she graduated from Amber-Pocasset High School, in 1994 she graduated from USAO and received her teaching certificate. Lillian taught at Amber-Pocasset Elementary School as a Kindergarten teacher. She married Gary Steelman in November of 1966. She was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
 She is preceded in death by her father James Owens Jr.
 Lillian is survived by husband, Gary Steelman; three children, Jalene Hawkins and husband James, Jennifer Stephen and husband Tim, and Brent Steelman and wife Becky; six grandchildren; her mother, Hope Owens; her sisters, Elaine Merrifield, Joan Koos and Husband Dave, Irene Lehew; and brother John Owens and wife Cherris.
