Gayle Lynn (Showalter) Ryans of Chickasha was born September 16, 1944 in Waurika OK to Raymond Arthur and Wuanita (Smith) Showalter. She passed away peacefully on Monday July 5, 2021 in her home.
 She She attended Waurika schools graduating in 1963,
 Gayle married Claude Jr. Ryans May 17, 1963 in Wichita Falls Texas. Gayle worked at Maremont before starting a job at Delta Faucet where she retired after 25 years of dedicated service. After her retirement she worked at the Chickasha Opportunity center and volunteered at Meals on Wheels.
 She enjoyed meeting new people and visiting with old friends and family. Her grandchildren brought her great joy and she loved spending time with each of them.
 She was proceded by her parents Raymond and Wuanita Showalter and her sons Ricky Ryans, Gary Ryans and Shannon Ryans and her husband of 48 years Claude Ryans.
 She is survived by her daughter Linda Sain of the home, son Randy Ryans of Ninnekah, siblings Shirley (Cotton) Foster of Justin Texas, Darlene (Dave) Trinkle of Du Quoin Illinois, Randy (Donalda) Showalter Waurika Oklahoma, Shelba (Deward) Brown of Newalla Oklahoma, Mike (Jeannie) Showalter of Broadlands Illinois, Max (Vivian) Showalter of Oklahoma City Oklahoma; 12 Grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Special friends Bobby and Dedra McMullen of Alex.
 A memorial will be held at noon on July 31, 2021 at the Eagles Lodge in Chickasha.
