Caddo County collision sends one to OU Medical 


A personal injury accident was reported by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol on Saturday, July 10 at about 5:30 pm 4 miles north of Apache in Caddo County.
 A 2004 Nissan Altima driven by Gilbert L. Crow-Mihecoby, 36 of Oklahoma City was westbound on 1420 Road. A 2007 Dodge pickup driven by Cody L. Mixon age 21, of Cyril, OK was northbound on US-281.
 The Nissan failed to yield at the stop sign and was struck by the Dodge pickup in the driver’s side.
 Crow-Mihecoby was pinned for undetermined amount of time and was extricated by Apache FD. He was transported by Trooper Morgan Harp #938 to Physicians Hospital in Anadarko. Then transferred to OU Medical Center where he was admitted in fair condition with trunk internal injuries.
 Mixon was uninjured in the collision.
 Cause of Collision was listed as a failure to yield at a stop sign.
 The incident was investigated by Trooper Zachary Johnson #404 of the Comanche County detachment of Troop G. Assisted by Trooper Morgan Harp #938 of Troop G, Also assisted by Caddo County SO, Apache EMS, Apache PD and Apache FD.
