On Friday, July 9, 2021 at approximately 9:20 pm, Brandon A. Mann, 40, of Ninnekah was transported to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City following a motorcycle incident.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports, Mann was east bound on County Road 1430, 1 mile east of Ninnekah in Grady County operating a 2004 Harley Davidson Motorcycle when he failed to stop at a stop sign, causing him to lay the motorcycle over. He was thrown from the motorcycle causing him to strike the roadway and depart the roadway onto County Street 2860 to the east side.
He was transported to Grady County Memorial Hospital by Chickasha EMS then transferred by Air Evac to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was admitted in critical condition with head, upper extremity, lower extremity and trunk internal injuries.
According to the report the cause of the collision was unsafe speed for type of roadway.
The accident was uninvestigated by Trooper Rusty Russell # 695 of the Grady County detachment of Troop G. Assisted by Trooper James Jewell #534 of Troop G, Trooper Russell Boswell #802 of Troop G, Grady County Sheriff’s Office, Ninnekah Police Department, Ninnekah Fire Department and Chickasha EMS.
