State 4-H Horse Show Jul 15 – 17


Grady County Fairgrounds is this year’s host for the annual Oklahoma State 4-H Horse Show. This is the biggest equine event of the year for four-leaf clover riders. Chris Hiney of Oklahoma 4H calls the event, “much more than a horse show. 4H strives to develop the whole child and help create well rounded adults.” The state’s youth will be grouped into three age groups including 9 to 11 year old, 12 to 14 year old and 15 to 19 year old. Competitive events include barrel racing, showmanship, trail, flags, English, pole bending, stakes, Western, Western pleasure, English and more. Cheer on Oklahoma’s 4-H members at the State 4-H Horse Show. Show hours are 8am – 5pm and admission is free.
