Art for Kids in Chickasha this Summer

 The Chickasha Area Arts Council (CAAC) is a nonprofit cultural and educational agency created to support, encourage, coordinate, and promote high-quality activities and programs in the arts and humanities for the Chickasha area community.
 Currently the CAAC is offering Free Children’s Art Classes on the first Saturday of every month, ages 4-12. More information is available at info@chickashaarts.org or by calling 405-905-2350.
 This summer the Council is offering Artscope for 8-12 year olds to explore theater, visual arts, dance and musical theater. Artscope is staffed by professional artists and instructors in each area and children have opportunities for personal growth, creative sharing, social interaction, skill development and presentation of work.
 Artscope will be held at the Grady County Event Center June 7-18th Monday – Friday from 9am to 4pm. Tuition is $195. Registration information can be found at https://www.chickashaarts.org/artscope-2021.html or by calling 405-222-0487.
 Some need based scholarships are being offered for 2021. Information for prospective scholarship students is located at https://www.chickashaarts.org/f/ARTSCOPE_2021_SCHOLARSHIP_APPLICATION.pdf. Applications are due by May 1st.
 For older students, CAAC is offering Artscope Studio 2021. This is a visual arts intensive held at the Chickasha Area Arts Council from July 5th – 9th, from 9am – 4 pm daily. Tuition is $125.
