New Extension Educator for Grady County

Grady County OSU Cooperative Extension Service welcomes Alexanderia Minor as the Extension Educator for Agriculture/4-H and Youth Development.
Minor brings with her nearly fifteen years of experience from working on her family farm. On their farm, she gained skills in the fields of chicken houses, cow-calf operations, and timber.
She began her journey through OSU where she developed her love for sustainable agriculture. Minor holds a B.S. in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University, and she is pursuing a M.N.R.S. in Rangeland Ecology and Management from Colorado State University. She is also a member of the U.S. Army Reserves as a 12C.
Minor is driven by her passion for the management of natural resources. She believes that the first step to becoming successful in agriculture is by taking care of the environment that is supporting your desires. Minor does this by volunteering for Oklahoma Blue Thumb where she can empower people to help protect water in their area.
