It’s beginning to look like Christmas in Chickasha

Chickasha’s Annual Festival of Light opened last Thursday evening to mild temperatures and an excellent crowd for it’s thirty day run. The park features a larger skating rink this year and other updated features. The park opens at dusk each evening and allows drive-thru or walk-thru viewing of the displays around Shannon Springs Lake. The park will be open through December 31, weather permitting

Ross Seed True Value at 416 Choctaw just received their annual stock of live Christmas Trees. Paul Horton said their were 220 trees in the shipment that came from tree farms in the northern part of the U.S. There are several different varieties of trees and range in size from 4 feet tall to 12 feet tall.
