January 5, 1936 – October 7, 2020

Margaret Ann Long Wilkes went to her Heavenly Home October 6, 2020.
Ann was 84 years old, born in Anadarko, OK. To her parents Bill and Alberta Long.
Ann was an Air Force wife and supported her husband’s career all the way through to his retirement in the Air Force.
Ann worked for the Boeing Company at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc, CA up until her husband Lee Wilkes retired from the service and then they moved to Houston, TX. There Ann worked as an Administrator for the AFLAC Insurance Company until she retired.
Ann loved square dancing and she and her husband Lee enjoyed being with friends and their dancing.
Ann was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Trinity, TX.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband Lee Wilkes, her loving daughter Lisa MacMurdo, Sisters, Barbara Huckleby, Helen Hollowell Marshall and Willie Seabolt. Brothers, Herman Long, John Long and Paul Long.
She is survived by her loving granddaughter Hailey MacMurdo of Chickasha, OK and one Sister Juanita Box of Chickasha, OK and Sister-in-laws Betty White and husband Don of Wylie, TX, Evelyn Keaton and husband Stan of Benton, AR. and Claudia Hulsey of Mustang, OK., and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Viewing will be Friday, October 9th, from 9 am to 5 pm at Smith’s funeral home in Anadarko, OK.

Graveside service will be on Saturday, October 9th at 1:00 pm at Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, OK.
