MASK UP


The Chickasha Chamber of Commerce is suggesting to local business
owners and managers that they ask patrons and employees to wear a mask
while in their place of business.
Cassandra Ersland, President of the local group said in a recent
email, “With the recent spike of COVID-19 here in our community, in addition to good hand hygiene and social distance practices, the Chickasha Chamber of Commerce
encourages all Chickasha businesses to consider asking patrons and employees to wear a mask
while in your establishment”.
As of press time, the Oklahoma Department of Health was reporting that there has been a total
of 564 cases of the COVID-19 virus confirmed in Chickasha, there have been six deaths and there
have been 381 recoveries.
In Grady County, there have been 1,059 cases reported, 11 deaths and 740 recoveries.
Anadarko has experienced 329 cases, six deaths and 279 recoveries. Caddo County reports
758 cases, 21 deaths and 618 recoveries. The State of Oklahoma is reporting 83,510 cases
and 1,004 deaths and 69,754 recoveries. Over Seven Million cases has been reported in the nation and over 200,000 deaths.
