Chickasha Chamber’s local shopping incentive is just in time for real shopping to begin. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are out of the way. Now it is time for shoppers to see what your local businesses have in store for you.

The Chickasha Chamber of Commerce is encouraging shoppers to buy local by offering a financial incentive. The Chamber’s “Buy Chickasha” program supports local merchants by giving shoppers the chance to win $5,000, $3,000 or $2,000 in cash when they spend at a participating business.

 Just for visiting a participating business, people will receive one ticket. They receive an additional ticket for each ten-dollar purchase with a maximum of 100 tickets per purchase. Participants must be 18 years or older to win. Tax exempt purchases do not qualify, with the exception of Disabled Veterans.

 Participating merchants include Chicken Express, Chick’s Liquor, Cotton Patch Café, Factory Connection, Jay’s Jewelry, Liberty Drug, Okie Mountain Trading Co., Polished Boutique, Ross Seed/True Value Hardware, Shollie’s Sweets, Sooner Nutrition, Shoot the Moon Gift Baskets, Steelman’s Framing Gifts & Sew Much More, Southern Blossom Boutique, Tropical Smoothie Café, Two Vets Clothing Company, US Cellular, WhipLash Salon & Boutique and Wing T’s.

 The Buy Chickasha Campaign kicked off on Monday, November 18, and will run through Sunday, December 15. The drawing will be Monday, December 16, at 3:00 pm. Participants do not have to be present to win. The winning number will be announced on chickashachamber.com, facebook.com/chickashachamber and KOOL 105.5.
